Copies of Thai and Khmer Sculpture on the Balcony of MM's Residence

In the living room of his condominium in Jomtien, atop a hand-painted Chinese lacquer ware pedestal (beside a Thai lamp set on a Korean table) sits an imitation of the Shrivijaya Bodhisattva in the National Museum in Bangkok, here colored to simulate red sandstone.

On the broad balcony that surrounds the condo have been installed twelve more copies of ancient and modern works of sculpture (eight reliefs and four free-standing statues) in an order that reads from the top to the bottom of the scroll, then back from the bottom to the top.
